ELSIE BINX was born when Kevin Wesley Williams and Erin Accomando began working together at The Sound Shop Studio in Macomb, Michigan in January of 2015. They set out to create the sound of a new pop/rock project. With Aaron Golematis’ help, they would produce a 7-song album (Smile and a Bullet) that would eventually bring together the group of musicians who call themselves ELSIE BINX (EBX) today.
Since then ELSIE BINX has been an unstoppable machine producing two more albums. That’s What She Said in April of 2017 and their first acoustic EP, Electric Baby, in August of 2019. Electric Baby had a single and a video that preceded it, Everything About It. The single is to drive awareness to Endometriosis and those who fight it everyday. Their most recent single, Mean Girls, is a catchy play on the movie Mean Girls.
When it comes to the members themselves, ELSIE BINX is filled with some of the best muscians and people you could hope for. There’s the seasoned drummer, Darin, who plays in a way that would make the late great Neil Peart proud. You have Phil on Bass and Jonny on guitar providing power that puts some national bands to shame. Jen is up next with her sweet melodies on keys and vocals. The final piece of this Detroit adrenaline rush of a band is their lead singer Erin. She is everything you could wish for in a lead singer. She interacts with the crowd, rocks out to every song, creates great harmonies with Jen and has a voice that can be heard outside any venue. Together they create music that will last for a lifetime.
As great as they are this band/family gets so much love and support from many individuals. The one we would like to mention is, Kevin, their manager, engineer and producer. Much like the rest of EBX he is an exceptional human being with a large heart. He translates the incredible energy that ELSIE BINX has on stage and throws it into high quality recordings that anyone can enjoy at home.
