Death Cassette CD release feat. Clipwing and The Thrashers

Prior to the unfortunate closures of venues across the world due to COVID-19, I was stoked to attend Death Cassette’s CD Release show at The Park Theatre in Winnipeg. Death Cassette, along with more Winnipeg DIY punk The Thrashers and of course Clipwing, flawlessly annihilated their sets and brought a bittersweet reminder to their audience just how lucky we were to have the freedom of regularly attending shows and physically coming together as a community. Hamtramck Music Festival Opening Night by Dante Lamb

Opening night at the 7th annual Hamtramck Music Festival was a great start and got everyone excited for 190 bands that would be playing. There was only a few bands to kick things off but they definitely showed us what the great city of Detroit is made of. From new bands to old and 2 piece bands to 5 piece acts. Nice Cops at The Osborne Underground by Carly Boomer

Nice Cops Local pop punk / rock group Nice Cops performed a stellar set at the Osborne Underground in Winnipeg, just before venues across the nation had little to no choice but to close most of their doors due to COVID-19.
